It has been a long time since we heard from Khushboo on the film front. She hasn't come in a full fledged role in a film since 2011 even though she has appeared in special cameos in a few films. She has kept herself busy with politics and film production and her most recent production venture was the successful, Meesaya Murukku.
Recently, there came a new venture in her life and when she was approached by the media, and she said: ''I have just completed shooting for my next film, Oh Andha Naatkal, which is directed by James Vasanthan. The dubbing portion is yet to be completed. This will be my first Tamil film after almost 7 years''.
Oh Andha Naatkal also stars Raadhika, Urvashi and Suhasini Maniratnam. The release date of the film has not been announced yet, but we are sure that it will be an exciting watch. The film have been a dream of the director and now it seems like it came true. During the shoot also Khushboo has helped the crew to do many things for the shoot like, the film feature the AFL Footy Australian Rules Football scenes in an Indian film for the first time Khushboo had also agreed to promote AFL in India, and was later granted Honorary Membership of the Richmond Football Club, along with sprinter Usain Bolt. The film was shot at various locations around Melbourne, including at the scenic Royal Botanic Gardens, Cranbourne, and Casey Fields.
Certain scenes of the film required to be shot in and around an Australian Airport . The film crew initially struggled to get permissions to shoot at an Australian Airport. Actress Khushboo then personally went and requested Former Victorian Premier Hon. Ted Baillieu and former Ministerial Adviser Mr Nitin Gupta for help, who arranged the required permissions to shoot at Avalon Airport, Melbourne within few minutes.
With all these information, we are waiting eagerly for the release of the trailer and first looks of the movie.
